The service
When the job is protecting the concrete
Some floors don't need a feature finish. They need protecting. A protective coating seals the concrete so oil, grease, drinks and dirt sit on the surface to be cleaned up instead of soaking into the slab, and it stops bare concrete dusting as it wears.
'Protective coating' covers a range of systems, from tough coloured epoxy to polyurethane and polyaspartic finishes. The right one depends on what the floor is up against: vehicles, foot traffic, chemicals, water or sun.
So before recommending anything, we'll look at what's damaging or staining the floor now and what it has to cope with from here on.

Should new concrete be coated?
It's worth considering, because concrete is porous and stains easily from oil, rust and spills. New concrete needs time to cure before it can be coated, so let us know when it was poured and we'll advise on timing.
Can you coat over an existing sealer or paint?
Usually not directly. Old sealers and paint often need to be ground off so the new coating bonds to sound concrete rather than to a layer that's already failing. We'll check what's on the floor now at the quote.
Will a coating stop oil stains?
A sealed, coated floor stops oil soaking in, so spills can be wiped up. Deep stains already in the concrete may need extra prep, and a coloured coating will hide what's left far better than a clear one.
